Books in this Series

University of Pittsburgh Press

Founded in 1992, the Pittsburgh-Konstanz Series in the Philosophy and History of Science is a joint collaboration of the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh and the Konstanzer Wissenschaftsforum at Universität Konstanz in Germany. It publishes collections of essays presented during Pittsburgh-Konstanz colloquiums in the Philosopy of Science. The essays explore diverse topics from the nuerosciences and psychoanalysis to quantum mechanics and relativity. The colloquium series as a whole is committed to furthering the integration of philosophy in the sciences. It stresses the philosophical analysis of science as it is actually done.
